I agree that with the birth of new media, it has brought about improvements about our lives. New media encompasses the internet. The internet has brought about much convenience in our lives, with billions of information at our fingertips with just the click of the mouse. This has enabled us to save much precious time when it comes to researching for information. Contrasting to internet’s predecessor, books, the internet has shortened the time taken to laboriously research for information. In the past, libraries were flocked by students to conduct research, making it inconvenient as well as time consuming. However, with the birth of new media, it has enabled people to conduct research at anytime, so long as they have the access to internet. Hence, it has brought about much improvements to our lives.
