To what extent is Singapore a family-friendly society

Families provide the basic foundation for a strong society.Thus when Singapore is family-friendly,the society is strengthened,rising it up to a resilient country.Realising the importance of family friendliness,policies are implemented by the Singapore government to promote a family-friendly society.For example,there is a 5-day work policy currently being implemented.This policy enables the civil servants to work during the weekdays and have a break on their weekends.As a result,they are able to spend time with their family to do various activities that would allow family bonding.However,these policies do not serve their purpose when families do not know their work-life balance.In order to finish up their work,many would bring their workload to their homes.As a result,its merely changing the place of work from office to home.Parents would eventually be still busy and overwhelmed with work to go out and bond with their families.Moreover,teenagers would not be willing to spend time with their families and rather go out with their friends.
